Water softener shopping has a specific problem: every review site ranks the same units on vibes, while the numbers that actually matter sit scattered across manufacturer PDFs: rated capacity at a real salt dose, service flow, iron limits, and what's certified versus merely claimed.

This site does the tedious part: we read the manufacturer documentation for every unit in the database, record the specs with their source and check date, and leave a field empty rather than guess. The sizing calculator uses the same standard formula dealers use, shown in full.
